Debris Teaser

The four page teaser showed up in Peter Panzerfaust #3 yesterday. In case you haven’t had a chance to read the issue (I’m sure you’ve just not been able to get to the store, of course) I’ve decided to post them here for your enjoyment.
Debris:
In the far future, humanity has doomed planet Earth to rot and decay, covering her surface with garbage. Now, ancient spirits called the Colossals rise from the debris and attack the remaining survivors, forcing the human race to the brink of extinction. One warrior woman, Maya, sets out to find the last source of pure water to save the world before the monsters bring it all to an end.

Wow! What an amazingly unique world the two of you have created here. I love how you’ve constructed a seemingly magical world, with high fantasty style stuff, out of tech. You’ve really rangled a new style of ot Riley here, it seems so different to everything else that I’ve seen him draw, if only in the blue sky of the background. And that second splash page, I could hear the boss music playing in my head. Well done.
Just don’t tell me that there’s too long a wait for this one, because I’m already tempted to go camp out the front of my Local Comic Store for it.
We owe a lot to our colourist, Owen Gieni. He’s super talented and is bringing a real vibrant look to the world we’re creating.
As to the wait, it’ll be in the next Previews with a July release.
